At Out of Love, we believe lasting change happens when people are given guidance, opportunity, and consistent support. Our programs are designed to interrupt cycles of poverty, violence, and incarceration by meeting individuals where they are—and helping them move forward with confidence and hope.
Through mentoring, education, workforce preparation, counseling, housing access, and youth sports, we create pathways that keep young people off the streets, reduce gang involvement and juvenile delinquency, and support adult offenders in successfully reintegrating into society.

Strong, trusted relationships are the foundation of transformation. Our mentoring programs connect youth and adults with caring role models who provide encouragement, accountability, and real-life guidance.

Mentorship helps individuals develop self-worth, resilience, and a belief in their ability to succeed—often for the first time.
Life skills are the foundation for independence, confidence, and long-term stability. Through our Life Skills & Personal Development program, we equip participants with the practical tools they need to successfully navigate everyday challenges and build healthier, more productive lives. Participants learn effective communication and conflict-resolution strategies that help them manage emotions, resolve disagreements peacefully, and strengthen relationships at home, school, and work. Our program also emphasizes financial literacy—teaching budgeting, money management, and responsible decision-making—so individuals can gain control over their finances and plan for the future. Time management and goal-setting skills help participants prioritize responsibilities, stay focused, and work toward achievable personal and professional milestones. We also address healthy relationships, emotional regulation, and problem-solving, empowering individuals to make thoughtful choices, reduce risky behaviors, and respond to life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. Together, these skills create a strong foundation for safer decisions, healthier futures, and lasting personal growth.
Economic opportunity is a critical factor in reducing recidivism and preventing youth from entering the justice system. Our job readiness programs prepare participants to enter and remain in the workforce.l.

We help participants discover their strengths while exploring career paths that align with their interests, abilities, and long-term goals through hands-on training and guided support.

We provide personalized resume support and interview coaching to help participants confidently present their skills, experience, and potential to employers.

Our program prepares participants to navigate workplace expectations with confidence, respect, and professionalism, increasing long-term job stability..

We connect participants to trusted employment opportunities, job placement services, and vocational training resources that support long-term career growth and economic stability.
By helping individuals gain stable employment, we reduce the likelihood of reoffending and increase long-term self-sufficiency.

Many of the individuals we serve have experienced trauma, instability, and loss that continue to affect their emotional well-being and daily lives. Our Counseling & Emotional Support services provide a safe, compassionate space where healing can begin and personal growth can take root. Through individual and group counseling, participants are supported by trained professionals who use trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches to meet each person where they are. We focus on emotional wellness, stress management, and healthy coping strategies that help individuals process past experiences, build resilience, and regain a sense of control over their lives. When additional care is needed, we connect participants to trusted mental health and community resources to ensure continuity of support. By addressing emotional and mental health needs, we help break destructive cycles, strengthen personal stability, and create a foundation for lasting, positive change.
Access to Housing & Stability Resources
Stable housing is the foundation for healing, recovery, and long-term progress, yet it remains one of the greatest barriers facing the individuals and families we serve. Our Access to Housing & Stability Resources program helps participants navigate complex housing systems by providing guidance, advocacy, and connection to safe and supportive housing options. We offer housing referrals and navigation assistance, including support for individuals reentering the community and those in need of transitional housing. Through strong partnerships with social service agencies and community organizations, we connect participants to essential resources that support stability beyond housing alone. Ongoing case management and follow-up ensure individuals are not left to navigate these challenges alone, providing continued encouragement and accountability as they rebuild their lives. With safe, stable housing in place, individuals are better positioned to pursue employment, education, and personal growth—creating a pathway toward independence, dignity, and lasting change.
Our Youth Sports & Prevention Programs provide safe, structured, and positive environments where young people can channel their energy, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of belonging. Through organized sports and team-based activities, youth learn the value of teamwork, discipline, accountability, and leadership—skills that extend far beyond the playing field. These programs create positive peer connections and consistent adult mentorship, offering guidance, encouragement, and supervision during critical after-school and weekend hours when youth are most vulnerable to negative influences. By providing engaging alternatives to street involvement, we help reduce gang affiliation and juvenile delinquency while promoting physical health, emotional well-being, and self-esteem. Most importantly, our programs empower youth to see their potential, make positive choices, and build healthy habits that support long-term success in school, relationships, and life.

By addressing the root causes of instability—lack of support, opportunity, and access—Out of Love helps individuals rewrite their stories. Our holistic approach reduces recidivism among adult offenders, prevents youth from entering the justice system, and strengthens families and communities.
We don’t just offer services—we offer pathways to purpose, accountability, and lasting change.
